One of the greatest music industry has contracted a very promising star, a rapper who is going to provide the world with originality and a great quality- set to break all the boundaries and bring back the soul of classic hip-hop, using the same style as the classic one. Joshua Mathew Mitchell, better known as King Tha Rapper, with just 14 years old is an American Hip-hop recording artist and record producer signed to Famous Records/Universal Music Group, one of the biggest music industry company.
Born in December 3rd, 2000, King has given the world a lot to speak about by announcing his first full length album “IAMKING” and the supporting single “IMO” which stands for “In My Opinion” featuring the hip-hop star Kurupt, known for being one of the member of “Dogg Pound” and produced by the R&B record producer Junel Beats. “IMO” is based on the nowadays reality. It is all about love, an exciting story of a girl who has lost her love in her life, because of her greed that has poisoned her heart and it made her become a blind materialist, by replacing, or switching her love, into his money, The King has worked a lot in his single to make it sure that his voice to be heard all around the world. Which was released on February 25th by Universal Music Group in the United States and Canada and Famous Records all around the world.
Since his young age, Joshua Mathew Mitchell better known as King Tha Rapper had been performing in various musical venues in Los Angeles during his childhood, and that didn’t stop there, he continued his dream, and grew up by being influenced from greatest hip-hop artists, such as Kanye West, Jay Z and DJ Mustard, where he often used to impersonate these artists just in the beginning of his steps. He has been on the school tour since late December 2014, performing in the main schools of every state of the United States, gaining the heart of the teenagers by inspiring them to fulfill their dreams.
His first full length album titled IAMKING, where King has worked a lot in his album to make it sure that his voice is heard all around the world. Expecting collaborations from Kurupt, August Alsina, Maat Morrison among others; his album has a lot of space to success, giving and compromising King Tha Rapper to be one of the upcoming artists to change the music industry in the incoming years.
