Launched as a quartet, Atlanta’s A1 the Super Group were honed down to duo when they hit party rap paydirt in 2013 with “Everywhere We Go.” Featuring members JT and G (formerly Lil G), A1 formed in 2009 and released their first mixtape the following year. Coming out the Marietta area, the group hit on Atlanta’s Northside first, but with an over the top live show and packed New Year’s Eve parties, they were downtown ATL favorites by 2013. That same year, the duo released the single “Everywhere We Go,” an instant summer club hit in their hometown. The A1T$G mixtape also arrived in 2013, while the summer of 2014 found “Everywhere We Go” released on a national level, this time with K Camp added to the remix.
