Travis S. Fields also known as “Diamond KhaLiL, and as “DK” was born September 9, 1983. Travis was born in Rocky Mount , North Carolina where he has coined the city he lives in, also known as “the ROC”. Travis started rapping at the age of 8 years old and has evolved into a multi-talented and versatile artist. Travis has had lots of performances to include Homing Coming at Universities, and night clubs from North Carolina to Atlanta Georgia. Travis has opened up for artist such as “Freeway, Peaty Pablo, and Trina “The Diamond Princess”,. In 2002 Travis appeared on 106 & Park Sound Stage in Durham, North Carolina and performed on stage where he rocked the show. Cash Money, Peaty Pablo, Queen Latifah, and Big Daddy Kane were also present on that show. Travis also performed for Black Rob and Craig Mack for “P. Diddy’s Making The Band ll in New York. Travis spent a year in California with Risky Entertainment and also several months in New York studio hopping following his dreams, but the time was not right for him. In 2008 Travis went to Washington DC and hung out with DJ Kool. DJ Kool hosted his mix tape titled Martial Law and had discussed doing a collaboration together. Travis mother passed away in 2008 shortly after completing his mix-tape leaving him to fend for his younger brother and sister. Travis and Big Grif his long-time manager are back at it again in the studio making some new, hot and fresh music. Travis is looking to have a break out year out of North Carolina and into the Industry in a very strong way. The industry will soon know who Diamond KhaLiL aka “DK”.
